At Clean Power Research, we like to think of ourselves as a small company doing big work. I reflected on this recently when I came across a list of the top 10 U.S. utilities (ranked by market capitalization, see Fig. 1) and noticed that 7 of the 10 were current customers of ours.

I dug a little deeper and realized we also serve 4 of the 6 largest U.S. municipal utilities (see figure 2).

All of these utilities use at least one of our three cloud based products (WattPlan®, PowerClerk® and SolarAnywhere®), and many use two. Some of our customers, such as SMUD (Sacramento Municipal Utility District), use all three.

Although these lists show large utilities, we also count many smaller utilities as customers. We also serve renewable generation developers, installers and researchers. Our Software as a Service products are scalable and can be deployed quickly to meet the needs of organizations of all sizes. Our customers do have one thing in common: a focus on successfully navigating the energy transformation.

We’re very proud of this achievement, but mostly are very thankful for our customers. If you’re not a customer yet, please feel free to reach out and see what you might be missing.
