Clean Power Research was selected to participate in a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) research and development (R&D) project focused on increasing behind-the-meter solar situational awareness and grid resiliency. SolarAnywhere® historical, now-cast and forecast power data will be used by the grid operator as a source of grid edge “state” information. A major outcome of the project will be to develop and demonstrate an integrated platform that relies on both measured and modeled inputs to improve grid resiliency.

Electrical Distribution Design (EDD) is leading the $4.9 million project, and Clean Power Research will be working alongside other project partners including PEPCO Holdings (PHI), Florida State University (FSU), Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), University of Delaware (UD), Dominion Voltage Inc. (DVI) and KITU Systems.
