SEATTLE, September 5th, 2012 – Clean Power Research® (www.cleanpower.com) today announced that Mark Liffmann has joined the company’s leadership team in the role of vice president of sales, marketing and business development. In addition, Jeremy Stone has been promoted to vice president of engineering in recognition of his leadership building the company’s world-class software development capabilities.

Mark joins Clean Power Research with nearly ten years of solar industry experience. Previously, Mark co-founded one of the largest business units at SunPower, where he led growth to over $500 million annual revenue, and pioneered the successful expansion of the business unit to the European Union. Mark’s experience also includes serving as vice president of business development and COO at Solar Depot, and leading sales and business development efforts at EnerG2, a Seattle based energy materials startup.

Jeremy brings nearly 20 years of experience to his role leading the company’s engineering team. Since joining Clean Power Research in 2008, Jeremy has been responsible for building the company’s software development team and agile development processes, and overseeing operations. With a focus on customer-driven development, Jeremy and his team have successfully delivered numerous software products, including PowerClerk®, Clean Power Estimator® and SolarAnywhere®. An inventor of 13 issued U.S. patents, Jeremy’s experience includes four years at Valve and 12 years at Microsoft, where he worked on popular products including MSN Messenger, Windows 95 and the first versions of Internet Explorer.
