Integrate Clean Power Estimator, an industry-leading tool for estimating the economic and environmental benefits of renewable energy systems, into your software applications.
In addition to its customizable web-based user interface, Clean Power Estimator provides a SOAP based web service API that enables applications to access a robust set of analytical capabilities.
Inputs include basic information such as the ZIP code to specify the location of a proposed system, along with information about a proposed renewable energy system that varies depending on the technology used in the proposed system and the requested results , but generally includes the type of equipment, quantities, and costs. Applications may also specify information such as natural gas prices, current and proposed electric rate, weather data source, loan type, loan rate and amount, lease and power purchase agreement (PPA) information, equipment life, O&M costs, and efficiency investments.
Output sets may include summary information, information about the PV or solar thermal system, a cost breakdown, net cost detail, emissions reduction, monthly utility bill, cash flow summary, cash flow details, annual load, monthly load, and hourly load for any or all months of a year.
The Clean Power Estimator API also contains several helper services that can be used to get lists of available electric utilities and rates for an area, lists of cities in a state, or PV production data.
